An attempt to draw cars faster according to photo reference.
First attempt to draw cars by rotating them in my head - looking at a photo and drawing it from a different angle.
Some angles are trick-ier than others
Not well proportioned - there are actually publicly available blueprints that show the aspect ratios and exterior dimensions of these cars - who knew! They really help with proportions.
Being sick of drawing cars and the mental work of rotating them, I took a (long) break and decided to study the style of some buildings from Toronto.
Buildings from Paris - love them - they all look the same! Due to building codes. Just replace blocks of the 1st floor with modular shops etc to make them look unique.
Castle of University College, University of Toronto - omitting foundations, terrain/elevation differences, trees, and gargoyles. Referenced from grainy satellite photos and Google Street View.
You know it was gonna end like this... An entire intersection. Queen and Spadina, Toronto.
